Best of 2025 | Kent Photographer

As a mum who started their photography business journey when I had 3 kids and they were all pretty young and at home with me (they were 18 months, 4 and 5) it meant my life was a real juggle (what parents isn’t tbh!), I’d photograph at the weekends and edit in nap times and after bedtimes late into the evening. But this year has been the first year that I have had all my 4 children at school (we added another kid into the mix cos we are obviously not fans of sleep or tidy houses) . This has meant that I have had time to allow me to give more to my photography and what a year it has been! I somehow ended the year as 3rd in the UK and 9th in the world for the Reportage Family Awards which is just the biggest honour.

Choosing my favourite images from the year is always haaarrrd! Why did I chose these ones…so many reasons but all have one thing in common, they make me feel something. Enjoy having a nose…
