I have had quite a bit of communication with The Mills over the last year as their very special friends bought them a voucher as a gift but they have had more than their fair share of obstacles in the road of family life (to say the least) which has meant we have had to keep rescheduling. These guys have dealt with the trials they have faced with dignity and completely embraced and adore the beautiful chaos of their family life of 6 (oh and not to forget LuLu the dog!)

Having a good giggle on the door step was a great way to start the shoot. Laurienne opened the front door and we both realised that we had already met quite a few times at a local mother and toddler group but neither of us had put two and two together (even though we chatted on the the phone for a good half hour during the week).

This particular shoot was a generous gift to super Nanna Jane. I do so love a shoot which has three generations and what a perfect afternoon it was. There was sunshine, lots of chatting, sibling banter, den building, the guaranteed baby sick on Mum’s shoulder, Haribo snacking and so many more precious moments to capture.
